Graduate Interior Designer

Note: this role is for immediate placement, if you are in your final year at university please do not apply as we will not be able to accept anyone who cannot start before the end of the academic year. We will re-open the Graduate Designer application in April/May for those who can only start in the summer after graduation.
On a mission to banish boring offices and with several exciting projects in the mix, we’re always on the hunt for Interior Designers to join our brilliant design team.
We believe everyone deserves a space in which they can thrive, so we (you) create those spaces and bring a client’s vision to life. Beyond aesthetics, you’ll create incredible workspaces that actually work.
Based in Bath, our creative crew work on a range of commercial design and build projects, from bespoke office fit-outs to multi-million pound building refurbishments.
As a Graduate Designer at Interaction you'll be exposed to a wide variety of design activities within the office design and build industry. Layouts, finishes, research, site visits, presentations, pitches & drawing packages - you'll be involved in it all!
We’re looking for people who can enthusiastically and passionately learn how to communicate design concepts.
If you’re relentlessly curious – and creative of course! – then we want to hear from you.
THE APPLICATION
We appreciate that you won't have a fully developed portfolio yet, so this application is interview & project based. Please submit your portfolio and a cover letter, alongside any relevant workplace or internship experience, or project work you have completed.
We will invite the shortlisted candidates in to our office, where you will be provided with a brief, blank layouts and materials to pull together a small project, which you will then present both your mini-project & your portfolio. We will ensure the environment is supportive and comfortable during the interview process, as we want to see your most creative & relaxed selves.
