IT & Systems Technician

As an IT and Systems Technician, you will be the first point of contact for internal technical support across the business. Your responsibilities will include providing level 1 support - resolving basic IT and systems issues, device management, and overseeing software license allocation. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate IT records, managing user access and permissions across various platforms, and ensuring that all office technology is correctly configured and functioning. Your proactive approach will help remove technical barriers and ensure smooth day-to-day operations for all staff.
In addition to hands-on support, you will coordinate with external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution of IT and systems-related tasks. You will manage file structures, including the creation of new job folders and maintenance of archives, while also supporting general system administration across the company. This role requires a detail-oriented and service-focused individual who can balance technical troubleshooting with efficient systems management to support a productive and tech-enabled workplace.
You will have the opportunity to learn about the full IT and systems architecture that underpin the operations of the business, including Microsoft, Apple, and Autodesk platforms. You will work with the Head of Operations on internal continuous improvement projects, and as your knowledge of the business and competency grows, identify technical opportunities to drive the business forward.
